Redknee and HPE tested the capabilities of Redknee Unified to deploy, operate, upgrade and scale Virtual Network Functions (VNF's) on the HPE Helion OpenStack Carrier-Grade platform, including Redknee Unified and Redknee's policy management software, Redknee PCS.
The HPE OpenNFV Program provides an open standard–based Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) reference architecture, offering CSPs ready-to-deploy solutions that can enable the transformation from legacy networks to NFV. Redknee joins over 83 partners who have now completed validation of their solutions on HPE's NFV System.
Redknee said that the HPE OpenNFV certification of Redknee Unified comes at a time when Redknee continues to invest in its NFV capabilities, providing clients with a best of breed solution that is adaptable and can be used on multiple NFV platforms to enhance operational efficiency and to support new revenue streams and business models.
