Chinese Business Support Systems(BSS) vendor, AsiaInfo in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) has unveiled a cloud-based version of its Veris BSS suite, Veris Cloud Core. The new solution enables operators to accelerate business transformation projects and transition to a modern BSS much more quickly, said AsiaInfo.
According to AsiaInfo, the carrier grade Veris Cloud Core is pre-integrated and is highly configurable, considerably reducing the time needed to commission the system and adapt it to local market requirements. Deployment on AWS’s public cloud makes the system almost immediately ready to use, avoiding the need for a lengthy infrastructure procurement and software installation project, added the ccompany.

AsiaInfo’s CTO Yadong Jin said: Veris Cloud Core changes the economics of IT transformation for telecoms operators. They can begin migrating customers off the legacy environment on a pay-as-you-grow basis, instead of contemplating a long project and a risky big bang migration.
