Ericsson Takes No.1 Spot for Service Delivery Platforms and Service Fulfillment Systems

Ericsson,leading provider of telecommunication services and technology, was announced as the global leader in service fulfillment systems by leading industry analyst firm Analysys Mason in two recent reports (Service Delivery Platforms, Worldwide Market Shares 2012 and Service Fulfillment Systems, Worldwide Market Shares 2012). This is the second year in a row Ericsson received the accolade. Ericsson whose network carries more than 40% of world's mobile traffic, has 16% share in the SDP market worldwide revenue and 12% market share in service fulfillment systems. Via its consulting and systems integration (CSI) capabilities, it delivers more than 1500 CSI projects a year. 

 

"These latest reports reaffirm Ericsson’s position as the solution of choice for communications service providers (CSPs) worldwide looking to realize the potential of new market growth, greater efficiencies and a better experience for their customers," said Elisabetta Romano, Vice President and Head of OSS and Service Enablement, Business Unit Support Solutions, Ericsson.

 

"In recent years, Ericsson has executed a strategy to position the company as a leader in the SDP and service fulfillment systems markets," Romano added. "We are gratified that Analysys Mason has validated our efforts by identifying Ericsson as the worldwide market share leader in these important segments.
