Firewalla yesterday introduced Firewalla Gold Pro, the world’s most affordable 10-gigabit smart firewall. The newest and most powerful device in Firewalla’s “Gold” product line is available for pre-sale at $788 starting today at 9 a.m. PDT.
Firewalla Gold Pro includes two 10-gigabit and two 2.5-gigabit ethernet interfaces to help segment and add redundancy to a network. Powered by the Firewalla Software Stack, and optimized for the fastest networks in homes and small businesses, the Firewalla Gold Pro can route and inspect network traffic at 10-gigabit speeds and is fully ready to support Wi-Fi 7.
This newest and most powerful device is powered by a quad-core Intel processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM to scale with a growing network. This allows users to easily utilize VPNs at over 2 gigabits, ensuring a fast and secure network experience even on the go.
Firewalla Gold Pro’s 10-gigabit ports can be used for wide area networks (WAN) and local area networks (LAN). Users can also segment their network with VLANs running at 10 gigabits, or connect one port to a 10-gigabit Wi-Fi 7 access point and another to a high-speed switch. Optional rabbit ears make it easy to mount Firewalla Gold Pro to a network rack so it can connect with existing devices and keep setups clean and organized.
Firewalla products have historically been offered at a significant discount during the pre-order period and have helped protect homes and businesses in more than 100 countries. All Firewalla Gold Pro pre-order units will get an additional six months of warranty, and shipping is estimated to begin in early November. The price of Firewalla Gold Pro will increase closer to the shipping period.
