DragonWave®, a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, has announced it has received follow on purchase orders for Horizon Compact+ from a major Indian Telecom and Broadband Service Provider for its 4G LTE network.

According to DragonWave, the service provider conducted an extensive customer testing on it's Horizon Compact+ system to qualify the system to build a high capacity backbone to support a 4G network. DragonWave Horizon Compact+ uniquely offers a combination of 2048 QAM modulation, together with the industry's only bandwidth accelerator bulk compression capability, to deliver unsurpassed spectral efficiency, said DragonWave.
