Sandvine's OutReach Helps Operators to Deliver Unobtrusive In-Browser Notifications to Customers

Sandvine has updated its OutReach, a subscriber communications and interaction product, enabling operators to interact directly with their subscribers through unobtrusive in-browser notifications or by triggering one-way notifications via SMS, USSD, or email.

Sandvine OutReach is fully integrated with Sandvine’s Traffic Management, Usage Management, and Network Security products allowing alerts to be defined in SandScript, Sandvine’s event-driven policy definition language, and then triggered in real-time.

Sandvine, the leading provider of intelligent network policy control solutions for fixed, mobile, and converged operators, said that the latest version of OutReach provides operators with a powerful set of subscriber-friendly, device-agnostic tools to interact with subscribers to satisfy a range of use cases, including usage information to avoid bill shock, alerts to subscribers infected with malicious software and regulatory notification requirements (e.g., extreme weather alerts, amber alerts, etc.)

"Operators need to effectively communicate with subscribers regardless of the device and application they are using. Sandvine OutReach provides operators with the ability to connect with subscribers on any device that has a web browser or that can receive a text message, and does so in a way that does not interfere with their current activities.”
