At the recent IBC 2014, Mobistar, the second largest of Belgium's three mobile telecommunications operators announced its partnership with Alpha Networks, Zappware and Siligence to support the launch of its new television and broadband Internet services over the cable network that are expected before the end of this year. 

These services will be among the first of this type in Europe to be based on regulated cable networks, where incumbant cable operators are required to allow access to the network. These solution providers will be provide system and services in supporting the new convergent services. 

Alpha Networks will be providing hosted subscription management solution for the new Pay-TV service. Siligence will supply the new TV decoders for the cable network, while Zappware will supply all user interfaces of the decoders, tablets, smartphones and PCs.
