EE this week announced the launch of the 4GEE WiFi and 4GEE WiFi Mini, two new mobile broadband devices that connect WiFi-enabled devices to EE’s 4G network - allowing customers to create their own personal, secure WiFi hotspots.
With a new curved design, the CAT 6 enabled 4GEE WiFi device allows users to access EE’s superfast 4G+ speeds, providing a higher capacity connection for up to 10 devices simultaneously. The new 4GEE WiFi also comes with a powerful 5,000 mAh battery bank, providing over 24 hours of usage and supports Qualcomm Fast Charge 2.0, which boasts up to 75 percent faster charging times than standard devices. The device can also be used as a battery pack to charge separate devices and supports WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.
4GEE WiFi is available on a range of pay monthly price plans starting from £11 per month, with a £49.99 one-off upfront cost. It is also available on pay as you go for £79.99.
The second device, 4GEE WiFi Mini said EE, is ultra portable, more compact and offers an even more convenient way to stay online via devices such as laptops or tablets. It is 15% smaller than its predecessor and is ideal for those who are always on the move. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and will be available on a range of pay monthly price plans just like the 4GEE WiFi device, but requires only £19.99 upfront. It is also available on pay as you go for £39.99.
