Elisa Strengthens Position in SaaS-based Services by Acquiring Majority Stake in Moontalk

Elisa and Moontalk Oy have signed an agreement under which Elisa takes a majority holding of Moontalk Oy stock, with Moontalk becoming a subsidiary of Elisa.

The deal is currently awaiting approval from the competition authority as well as other conditions typical for the completion of a business transaction. This deal supports the strategic goal of Elisa’s Corporate Business of being Finland’s most trusted partner for digitalising business processes. Elisa selected Moontalk as a target due to its strong, customer-centric application development expertise.

The deal will strengthen Elisa’s application development expertise, especially in developing SaaS-based applications.

Jorma Niemelä, VP for Connectivity Services at Elisa.

Jussi Patopuro, CEO of Moontalk
