Tele2 said in a statement that it has successfully completed the modernization of its mobile networks in all the Baltic countries in partnership with the network solutions giant, Nokia Networks. The company's modernization initiative that saw the adoption of latest technologies across its networks and base stations as well as the construction of its 540 new sites signifies the largest investment and mobile network infrastructure upgrade in the Baltics to date, said Tele2.
Tele2 has invested a total of EUR 50 million in transforming its networks towards modernization which is expected to translate into enhanced mobile broadband srevices for its subscribers across the region.
