Verizon's Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® Charges Smartphones Too

  • Verizon this week announced that it will start offering Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 6620L from tomorrow, an LTE-Advanced mobile hotspot that can connect up to 15 Wi-Fi devices while simultaneously charging a smartphone. The MiFi 6620L by Novatel Wireless includes a universal USB charging port that allows the device to become a portable battery pack. In terms of its own battery power, the MiFi 6620L has a 4000mAh battery, that can last up to 20 hours of use on a single charge.

  • The new mobile hotspot device supports a number of bands and works in over 200 countries, giving business travelers the ability to stay connected while abroad.  

  • According to Verizon, the Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi 6620L will be available online for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate debit card with new two-year activation. The device will also be available in Verizon's stores starting Oct. 2. Users will be able to add the hotspot to their existing MORE Everything accounts for an additional $20 monthly access fee.
