Sprint Slashes its Data Prices, 10 Lines Plus 20GB of Data for USD100

Sprint Slashes its Data Prices, 10 Lines Plus 20GB of Data for USD100

Sprint, a leading communications services company in the United States with more than 54 million customers, introduced the Sprint Family Share Pack, promising twice the amount of data compared to other leading competitors such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. The Family Share Pack allows sharing of data across up to 10 lines covering multiple mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Based on the Family Share Pack tariff, Sprint will be offering 20 GB of shared data bundled with unlimited talk and text for USD100 for up to 10 lines, which means that up to 10 members of the family can benefit from calling and texting each other and sharing the use of 20 GB of data across 10 end devices - all for just USD100. To spice up the offer, Sprint is throwing in an additional 2 GB per line bonus for up to 10 lines. Sprint says that the price for the package is half of what competitors are offering in the market today. Based on their pricing, the more the number of family members signed on the package, the more data the family enjoys. The USD100 for 20 GB offer is available from 22nd August to 30th September of this month. The Family Share Pack offers a wide choice of data quota, from 600MB to 60GB, all priced according to the amount of shared data that is offered.

Sprint's CEO, Marcelo Claure in his statement said that Sprint will be unveiling new plans for individuals next. Apart from its 3G and 4G LTE network, Sprint is also deploying the Sprint Spark, a technology offering turbo data speeds designed to support a new generation of online gaming, virtual reality, advanced cloud services and other bandwidth-intensive applications, added Sprint.

"Sprint is offering the best value to data-hungry consumers. Period. We are doubling the high-speed wireless data because today’s customers rely so much on their smartphones and tablets. We make it simple and easy for wireless consumers to get the data they need at affordable prices to make their lives easier, more productive and enjoyable. We are so certain that this is the best value on wireless today that for any customer who wants to switch to our new Sprint Family Share Pack, we will reimburse them for the cost to end their contract with another carrier.

-    Marcelo Claure, CEO, Sprint

Customers are seeking a strong network experience, and at a good value. The price and amount of sharable data associated with this new Sprint offering plays to that next wave of mobile demand."
