Ulticom Bags Major DSC Contract via OEM Partnership

A major Chinese Telecom Equipment Manufacturer (TEM) has selected Ulticom’s DSC product as an integral component of their Evolved Packet Core (EPC) product line. Ulticom, the industry leader in Diameter Signaling solutions, said that the OEM partnership will enable Ulticom's solutions to be rolled out in more markets, starting with the recent deployment at the major Operator in Asia. The Ulticom DSC enables Mobile Network Operators and IPX Providers to manage signaling growth, profit from mobile data services, and optimize 4G LTE roaming. According to Ulticon, due to the exponential growth in smart device usage worldwide, signaling has become one of the fastest growing and most critical functions in modern mobile networks and Diameter-based signaling is an essential enabler of key network capabilities like roaming, advanced mobile data services, charging, and policy management.
