At the recent CeBIT, Telefónica Germany showcased its latest solution for automatic communication between machines - its M2M Object Monitoring. The solution, which is offered jointly with Software AG, a world leader in business management software, provides an end-to-end offering that covers connectivity, hardware, application platforms and services to enable a wide range of M2M applications.

According to Telefonica, the M2M Object Monitoring solution that is applicable worldwide enables customers from various locations to monitor and manage their M2M applications more efficiently, at lower costs and to make customizations based on their needs.  

The solution's application platform boasts a range of services, includding support at various stages of implementation - from conceptualization to configuration and the smooth integration to the client's operations. The service which is offered on a monthly package is priced by the number of connected M2M modules.

According to Telefonica, the modular design of its hardware and the well-assorted market of its M2M applications will support clients across many sectors and deployment areas, for a wide range of basic M2M applications.
