Anuta Networks, the leading provider of network services orchestration solutions, announced that its network service orchestration solution, the NCX, supports the OpenStack Virtual Infrastructure Manager (VIM) and is compliant with ETSI NFV standards. The NCX's latest feature augments the solution's existing support for the VMware vCenter and ESXi hypervisors to enable a truly multi-vendor NFV.

According to Anuta, the NCX delivers comprehensive network service orchestration for physical network functions (PNF) as well as 30+ Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) from 20+ industry leading vendors. Anuta added that the OpenStack framework has been proven in cloud deployments to provide true multi-hypervisor flexibility. In the evolution of NFV, OpenStack has become a critical component as it accelerates the adoption of NFV.

Chandu Guntakala, President and CEO, Anuta Networks.
We are working with many service providers and we see significant momentum in Asia Pacific and EMEA regions to adopt NFV to improve operational efficiency and business agility. The Cloud service providers are deploying OpenStack as a unified platform to manage their existing as well as next generation, multi-vendor hybrid infrastructures.

Srini Beereddy, CTO, Anuta Networks
OpenStack has matured as a high-performance platform and supports many use-cases in production. With the support of OpenStack as VIM through northbound integration, we are expanding NCX coverage to multiple hypervisors. The combined northbound and southbound integrations with Openstack offer unprecedented business value to our customers. Service providers will have the flexibility to use multiple vendors, physical or virtual network functions supporting multiple hypervisor platforms and integrate with OpenStack self-service frameworks.
