Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, expands its 4G presence to six new circles using Nokia Networks’ FDD-based 4G radio network - Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station - operating on 1800MHz spectrum. Nokia Networks which has been providing TD-LTE Network to Bharti Airtel, said that they will also expand the implementation of TD-LTE on the 2300 MHz in 2 other circles.  

As part of the deal, Nokia Networks will provide its Flexi Zone solution to enhance the 4G LTE radio network with small cells deployment and optimization The company will also include its cloud-ready network management system, NetAct for a consolidated monitoring and optimization of the LTE network and its professional services that include network planning and optimization, network implementation, systems integration as well as hardware care.
