Dropbox users can now directly edit Microsoft documents that they store in their account using the Dropbox app without the hassle of downloading, editing and uploading it back. Earlier this month, Microsoft inked a strategic partnership with Dropbox paving way for the integration of Dropbox with Microsoft office for document collaboration on-the-go. The new feature which is now available on both Android and iOS platforms also allows the changes to be automatically saved in the dropbox account. The user clicks 'edit' while viewing the document in Dropbox to enable the real-time editing and update to take place, ensuring that the most recent changes made on the document is instanteneously updated to the cloud. Microsoft expects the integration to  enable people at work, home and school to easily collaborate on documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
