Novatel Wireless has announced that its MiFi® Powered SA 2100 LTE IoT gateways for telemetry and telematics has been certified by Verizon Wireless for AWS/Band 4 with support for Verizon's private network security. The certification of the dual band LTE (Band 4/13) with 3G Backhaul with MiFi mobile hotspot technology marks the third AWS/Band 4 solution from Novatel Wireless certified through Verizon Wireless since the network enabled AWS/Band 4 earlier this year.

According to Novatel, the SA 2100 gateway M2M solution that comes with an internal battery is ideal for applications such as in-vehicle hotspots, fleet telematics, remote video surveillance, digital signage, and remote access and control (RMAC). With the SA 2100, customers can now quickly scale secure M2M deployments in densely-populated areas with high mobile traffic congestion, without worrying about bandwidth availability and reliability, added Novatel.

Slim Souissi, President and Chief Operating Officer of Novatel Wireless
