Crnogorski Telekom, the largest telecoms operator in Montenegro and a Deutsche Telekom (DTAG) operating company, has selected DigitalRoute MediationZone platform to consolidate their existing mediation platforms and to reduce operating costs. The transformation to the new mediation platform is made simple as this solution is already the group standard, being deployed earlier within Deutsche Telekom AG.

According to DigitalRoute , the first phase and initial deployment -- for LTE Mediation -- required only eight weeks between initial requirements analysis to deployment and then to in-production. The entire transformation project is expected to be completed later in 2014 when other lines of business are added. Crnogorski Telekom is the seventh DTAG OpCo to implement MediationZone for Billing Mediation, after T-Mobile Germany, T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Czech Rep., T-Mobile Austria, Makedonski Telekom and T-Mobile Netherlands, says DigitalRoute.

"We selected DigitalRoute for a variety of reasons. It is the market leader in mediation. The company responded enthusiastically to our opportunity and quickly demonstrated the commitment we felt was necessary for the project’s success. DigitalRoute looked hard for innovative ways to assist us during the project setup and being able to tap existing knowledge and experts from within DTAG, with resources from Makedonski Telekom, during the deployment itself was another plus. Impressively the project was delivered on scope, time, budget and with a high level of quality. The relationship between our two companies has proved to be a perfect cultural fit, showing the required expertise, open-mindedness of approach and commitment necessary to ensuring results.

- Jasna Mirkovic, IT Director, Crnogorski Telekom

"We are delighted to welcome Crnogorski Telekom to the DigitalRoute customer family and also to extend our important relationship with the Deutsche Telekom group. The value that MediationZone brings to Communications Service Providers worldwide, in this instance as the foundation of a critical transformation effort, is considerable."

- Johan Bergh, CEO, DigitalRoute
